The aether portal frame is a utility item that creates an aether portal, usually used for debugging purposes.
Obtaining
The only natural way that an aether portal frame item can be obtained is if the mod's common configuration file has "Gives player Aether Portal Frame item" set to true. If this config option is set, then the player will spawn with the frame in their inventory when the world first starts.
Usage
When pressing use on a block, this item will create a portal frame centered at where it was used. It can only generate a portal if there is a 4 block wide and 5 block tall free region of air or replaceable blocks relative to where the item was used.
