Candy canes are a food item obtainable during the winter season using a candy cane sword.

Obtaining

Mob loot

Hitting any mob with a candy cane sword has a 50% chance to drop a single candy cane.

Usage

Food

To eat a candy cane, press and hold use while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores 2 (🍗) hunger and 0.2 hunger saturation.

A player can consume candy canes about twice as fast as any other food item in the game.
