Ambrosium Ore can be mined using a pickaxe to drop 1 ambrosium shard. If the pickaxe is enchanted with Fortune, it may drop an extra shard per level of Fortune, up to a maximum of 4 with Fortune III.
If the ore is naturally generated, mining it with a Skyroot Pickaxe will double the drops. This stacks with Fortune.
Mining any block with the correct Holystone tool has a 2% chance to drop a single ambrosium shard.
Mob loot
Mimic has a chance to drop 1 ambrosium shard on death.
Hitting any mob with a Holystone Sword has a 4% chance to drop a single ambrosium shard.
