Gold Dungeon (The Aether)

The Gold Dungeon is the third dungeon of the Aether, and is the only location in the Aether to find Netherrack naturally. It is home to the Sun Spirit.

Description

The Gold Dungeon is composed of only two rooms, in sharp contrast to the Bronze and Silver Dungeons. The main room upon entering the dungeon is a hollow 21x21x7 room with rimmed edges and 4 pieces of naturally generating Netherrack with active fires on them. This is the room which holds the Sun Spirit, and will become enclosed upon starting the boss fight. On the opposite end of the entrance is a locked, smaller 4x5x3 room which the Treasure Chest resides in. This room remains locked until the dungeon's Sun Spirit is defeated.

The dungeon itself is placed within a large, floating, spherical island, notarized by the numerous Golden Oak Trees growing on top of it. Similar to the Bronze Dungeon, there is only one entrance into the dungeon. While the Sun Spirit is the only guaranteed mob to spawn here, other mobs such as the Phyg can spawn on this island.
