Aerbunny (The Aether)
An aerbunny is a common passive mob and a source of string.
Spawning
Aerbunnies spawn only above aether grass with a light level above 8. They generate individually after the generation of the world in groups of 3 adults.

Breeding
Upon successful breeding, 1-7 experience is dropped.

1–3 experience is dropped when aerbunnies are killed by a player or a tamed wolf.
Killing a baby aerbunny yields no items or experience.
Behavior
Aerbunnies hop around aimlessly instead of walking and can stand on powder snow. They can jump up almost 2 blocks in height and may puff up to 11 times midair to maintain altitude while moving. They do not avoid players and follow players holding blue berries within 10 blocks of them. Aerbunnies avoid falling off 3.5 block-high cliffs and will attempt to avoid jumping into lava.
Aerbunnies can be attached to leads.
Aerbunnies fall slowly and are therefore immune to fall damage. If attacked, they will randomly flee while spawning crying particles.
Breeding
Aerbunnies can be bred using blue berries.
Baby rabbits grow to adulthood after 20 minutes, although their growth can be slowly accelerated using berries; each use reduces 10% of the remaining time to grow up.
Head-mounting
Aerbunnies can be right-clicked to mount them onto a player's head, and right clicked again to be dismounted. Only one aerbunny can be on a player's head at a time. While an aerbunny is on the player's head, the player jumps higher (a little under 3 blocks) and falls much slower. This stacks with potions of leaping and potions of slow falling. Pressing space in the air will make the aerbunny puff and perform a small hop in the air with the player.
Baby aerbunnies cannot be mounted.
If the player has elytra equipped, they will go into gliding mode and the aerbunny will be dismounted. If the aerbunny's hitbox touches water while mounting, it will also dismount the player.
Sounds
Aerbunnies use the Friendly Creatures sound category for entity-dependent sound events.
