Usage

Combat

While the skyroot sword is a very weak weapon it's ability to double mob drops makes it rather useful for resource gathering and is a good item to fully enchant with looting and fire aspect. Some notable mobs you can use this weapon on are mobs that drop food like Pigs and Cows, Shulkers when raiding end cities for Shulker Shells, Blazes for Blaze Rods, Enderman for Ender Pearls, and Evokers for double totems.

The double drop effect does not apply to Wither Skeleton Skulls or Nether Star drops.

You need to kill the mob with the sword for double drops, off handing a bow, dart blower, etc. and holding the sword in your main hand won't give you double drops when shooting a mob.

Fuel

Can be used as fuel to smelt 1 item in a furnace.

Trivia

During 1.19.4 development of the mod a duplication glitch was found, and patched, involving storing items in a donkey with a chest and killing it leading to all items in the chest being doubled.
